Introduction

This page describes in full the service and terms and conditions of service between 4theteam.net, a website representing a private partnership based in the United Kingdom ("the site"), and clubs, teams, societies, schools or any other sporting entities ("you", or "the participant") participating in the commission share scheme ("the scheme") described herein.

Please note that this text may be revised at any time without notice. You are advised to read this section of the website carefully as use of the site and the scheme will imply that you have done so and fully understand the terms and conditions herein - if you have any questions or concerns please contact us by email using the Contact page of the site.

Description of Service ("The scheme")

The scheme is based upon a revenue generating tool called "Affiliate Marketing". We link to Affiliate Marketing networks such as, but not limited to, Commission Junction, Affiliate Window and Trade Doubler, who provide internet links to third party sellers of goods and services ("retailers" or "merchants"). By utilising the internet links on www.4theteam.net and purchasing from these merchants we earn commissions through the networks who provide the links. The intention is to then calculate the commissions earned on your behalf via reporting tools provided by the networks and to pay commission amounts due to you based upon these calculations.

Currently, the scheme is only open to participants based in the UK.

Duties of the Participant

By participating in the scheme you undertake to commit to a minimum of six months' service. You undertake to promote the site and its service to your own supporter base / membership, with a view to generating traffic on the site for the purpose of using the internet links contained therein.

You undertake to provide truthful and honest information to us regarding your club's details. Proof of your identity and of your position within the participating entity may be requested - it is your responsibility to provide enough documentary evidence of this, if requested. Commissions earned will be witheld until such time as we are satisfied that the payment details provided are genuinely on behalf of the participant.

We reserve the right to refuse admission to the scheme if we believe the intended participant is fraudulently representing the sporting entity he/she claims to represent, or if the participant is involved in illegal or immoral activities.

Any club-related content supplied for inclusion on your page(s) of the site is the responsibility of individual participant to ensure that the information is correct and up to date; any views expressed on a club's pages are not necessarily those of 4theteam.net and should not be construed as such.

You also undertake that you (or any users of internet links provided for you) will use internet links on the site in a sensible, normal manner - any abuse of this website which leads to disqualification or suspension of 4theteam.net from an affiliate network's program for one or more retailers will lead to possible suspension of the relevant participant from the scheme and/or withholding of commissions earned.

Duties of the Site

We undertake to provide an honest, reliable service, using links provided to us by the Affiliate networks, a full list of networks in use may be made available on request. We undertake to notify you of any material changes which will affect your service, either by email or via the Home Page of the site. We also undertake to ensure that links are current and to remove links notified to us as no longer valid by the network concerned.

We undertake to provide you with accurate reporting, on an ad hoc basis, of activity resulting in commissions being earned on your behalf, based on information provided to us by the networks.

Frequency of Payment

Payments are made to us directly by the networks, which may be irregular and dependent on factors such as minimum payment values, goods being returned and deductions for commissions earned after the expiry of one of their own merchant programs.

Payments will then be paid to you, normally monthly, net of the commission agreed between you and the site. Payments to participants will be made by BACS transfer or cheque to UK banks only. Note that some networks will wait for confirmation from a merchant of a valid sale before processing a payment to us. Therefore there may be timing differences between purchase from a retailer and its resulting commission payment.

Limitation of Liability

All reasonable efforts have been made to ensure that we are dealing with reputable affilliate networks and their retailers. However, as we are not responsible for the content of external internet links we cannot be held responsible for any dispute between you and the retailer. In the event of a dispute you should contact the retailer directly via whatever contact details are provided on their own website.

You should take reasonable precautions to guard against internet viruses and other external programs which may cause harm to your computer.

Payments will be made to the bank details provided by the participant - we will not be held responsible for inaccurate or misleading payment information provided. We reserve the right to recharge to you any charges incurred by us in recovering monies paid to incorrect bank accounts.
