If you're a fan then by definition you support your club, whether it's as a proud parent watching little Jimmy (or Jemima, of course!) taking their first steps on that rocky road called "Playing as a Team", as a player yourself, dragging your hangover down to the local rec on a Sunday morning, or simply as an Armchair Fan. You're there because you care and, in most cases, everyone says your club needs "more of this" or "more of that" to make things better. Well, that's where we come in...
You've probably bought something online at least once in your life. Popular websites like Amazon, Currys and the major supermarkets have tapped into the desire to have things delivered straight to your door. So, if you're happy to buy online then wouldn't it be nice to contribute to your club at the same time? Buying that new football shirt could help towards buying a new pair of goalie gloves for your Under-9s, that holiday you've just booked could pay for some new training bibs for the netball team. Get the idea? Here's how it works...
Start your online shopping experience here!
We link to a number of retailers who sell all sorts of stuff online - from sports equipment to mobile phones to home furnishings to holidays. They all provide commissions to websites for promoting their goods and services, so by visiting their sites and buying online by clicking on a 4theteam link first, rather than going direct, a healthy percentage of that commission comes back into Sport (and your club in particular) at the grassroots level.
So where's the catch?
That's the best bit - there is none! It won't cost you any more to start from the 4theteam website and your club will benefit from a minimum of 2 or 3% (often much more) from every purchase you make - of course, if you buy a package holiday then that percentage starts becoming a significant amount, or if you buy gear for the club from a sports retailer then you're effectively getting an additional discount. It's all good news and the more you use this service then the more your club, society or even school team will benefit.
More good news!
As well as contributing directly to your club, you can also do your bit by getting other clubs on board. It doesn't matter what sport they play, if we accept them as clients then your team will also benefit from a proportion of commissions from their sales, so there's even more to be made! Simply get them to tell us you sent them along and we'll do the rest.
How do I start?
Your club may already have contacted you to let you know about us, in which case they will hopefully have given you a website link to follow to their own personal shopping page on 4theteam.net. You can also use the search box at the top of this page to see if they're already on the site. Otherwise, get them to register with us. Then, when you've been told your club has been set up, simply find their page on this website, click on the retailers' links and start shopping!
